Furious. Rang Monday (now Friday) to let them know I had no water. Told them the exact fault and location to be told it will be sorted in 48hrs. Three days later still no repair and no contact, even though I signed up for text message updates! Rang again to be fobbed off, rang again a day later to be told they are out to two hospital emergencies (convenient) . 5 days of trying to wash, clean and cook with no water. I’ve told them if I don’t have water by 6am when I am up for work the direct debit is getting cancelled and I’ll be contacting a solicitor! Complete joke and I’ve been patient enough!

Sewage came up from a blockage- YW came out unblocked as their responsibility (at fault) back log - flooded house and burst pipes. Denied all responsibility.
Later came randomly uninvited- drilled my pipes, causing a further flood and then left a not saying “you need a private plumber”
Various calls, hours wasted and shocking customer service and basically at square one. Cost me a fortune and YW take no responsibility even after admiring their fault. Apparently blockage was a “freak” incident. Nothing to do with their lack of maintenance! Wish o could use any other company but no options

We are having new pipes laid in our street in Lightcliffe, a job which originally was to take 2 months. Now 2 months down the line it’s barely got going, it will probably end this time next year if we are lucky. Men stand about on mobile phones, laughing and joking, nothing gets done. Management is non existent, it’s like the blind leading the blind. Friday is the day when nothing gets done apart from go to the cafe and more of the above, they go home at 3pm. Health and safety is laughable. No wonder our water costs a lot because of clowns like this lot here taking their time because they are a joke.
Update. I got your reply which obviously goes out to every complainant, your link obviously doesn’t work. You’ve fobbed me off because of your incompetence, may I suggest you too get your act together and sort this mess out. Men have turned up today and so far nothing done as usual. Pathetic company

Absolutely disgusting policy Yorkshire Water have giving me 3 different dates to fix a water leak which has been going on for almost 2 years water has passed my house and god knows how much damage its going to do. Yorkshire Water listen to your customers and solve their problems.

Such poor customer service. Only receive an updated bill once a year, and had no end of problems when I first moved into my property with no clear indication of payment dates leading to a 'Missed Payment' being noted on my credit report
