Never been in here without having to wait at least 10 minutes. Especially in the new tiny room.

Staff are constantly trying to add on postage costs and upgrade you to special deliveries and things. A truly awful experience every time

Good local post office at WHSmith Local, within the shop, at the back. Nicely refitted a couple of years ago. Generally friendly and helpful. Most staff are experienced and well trained, but you may sometimes encounter less experienced staff. Hope they all continue with their Christmas jumpers every year!

This is the second time the guy at the post office counter (not the shop side) has commented rudely during the process of a transaction here. Last time it was about a cheque envelope, this time is about money being folded. Cash goes into a wallet folded. That's just how it is. Not everyone has wallets big enough to have notes stretched out all the way. If you work in retail you must expect to take cash with all kinds of defects including folds and tears, you can't refuse notes just because of that. Next time I will personally phone the shop to ask in advance how you would like my cash to be presented so it will fit into your note counting machine.

Went to do my driving licence as couldn't do on line very rude staff telling me that they do it .which I no isn't true. A friend did it there last week. No compassion at all also was going to bye toys so left empty handed

I have always found the staff really pleasant and the Post Office service swift (as they can be!). I have very rarely seen less than two staff members serving in the Post Office.
