A tranquil place with stunning views. My daughters wedding was held here for the weekend. Everything was picture perfect. The staff were just amazing, so helpful and kind.
The cottages and the main house were very spacious.

We recently got married at this beautiful venue, the grounds were stunning, the accommodation were luxurious, clean with plenty of room (especially compared to the other venues we looked at) Very reasonably priced and the staff (both Beth & Molly) were both lovely and did everything they could to make our day run smoothly and to perfection. The barn is absolutely insane! if you're after a rustic & spacious barn for a larger wedding this is the place for you. (Dont forget to visit the Highland cows, Llamas & Lifton Farm shop for breakfast or a roast!) Thank you Wooladon, you made our wedding dream come true! B & L x

We recently got married at Wooladon Estate and could not have wished for a more perfect day!
From the moment we first visited, we fell in love with the beautiful grounds of Wooladon Estate, it had everything, lakes overlooked by gorgeous willow trees, a traditional English main house and a gorgeous barn. Beth and Molly were brilliant throughout the whole process, nothing was too much trouble and Beth and Molly really helped us put our ideas into reality. The barn was a great atmosphere for the party, and it was fantastic to have our close friends and family stay with us for the weekend. The hot tub with the bridesmaids over looking the fields was a particular highlight.
Wooladon will always have a special place in our hearts - highly recommend for anyone thinking of getting married in Devon!

I went there for a wedding. The day was sunny, venue overall was well presented and attractive. The ceremony was held in a lawned area with a slight dip which resulted in chairs leaning ever so slightly foward. After that drinks were served nearby in another lawned area with a patio area serving canapes - which were very good. On the downside the pond/stream had a smell problem.
Reception was in the barn, a very large wooden structure. Tables and food were first class. Two things let the day down a bit. Firstly, for what ever reason the acoustics/pa combination made all the speeches unintelligible where I was seated, a common complaint from others too. Finally, there's an apparent lack of toilets. The only permanent one in the building that we found had long queues and didn't flush properly. There must have been some issue since there were hired ones outside the barn.

We booked Wooladon Estate for our May 2024 wedding on a complete whim after totally falling in love with the beautiful accommodation, reception and ceremony rooms when we viewed it a year prior. We are so glad we did!
Everything from the planning process to the day itself was absolutely perfect. We were lucky enough to have glorious sunshine so we could enjoy the gardens and have photos in the beautiful surroundings.
All of our guests were so pleased with their accommodation and it was so important to us to be able to sleep 30+ of our family and friends for the whole weekend. We had so many comments from wedding guests on what a stunning venue it was, it had everything we needed and more.
Molly ran things for us on the day so seamlessly I genuinely felt like a guest at my own wedding, I wouldn’t have even known if anything went wrong! Can’t thank you enough, Molly!
We can’t wait to come back again as guests in the gorgeous accommodation and carry on creating special memories at this place.

Great getaway...quiet.
Cottage was lovely...would have stayed longer...great place if your looking for private, quiet, relaxing break away from reality....hosts were great...would recommend this getaway to all....

We were lucky enough to book Wooladon Estate for our wedding in August '23. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location to host our friends and family for the whole weekend. The day itself was perfect and everything we could have hoped for and more. We were able to have our ceremony outside by the lake, which was wonderful. They also have a quaint and charming ceremony room for when the weather isn't so kind and for those wanting an indoor ceremony.
Beth was so so helpful from start to finish, with prompt communication and a calm, organised influence on the day itself. Being able to have someone to ensure that the day was running smoothly was a godsend and we really appreciated it.
Everyone staying at the Estate with us were thrilled with the accommodation and we had lots of comments about what an amazing location it was.
I highly recommend Wooladon Estate for the perfect wedding location, whatever time of year it is.
