The worst experience i had in my life. When they say two weeks, means two months. To get some extra money back that i paid they've treat me so rude (all of them, because i made many calls) and with indifference. I still haven't got them. So many questions whiteout reasons and so much pressure on customers, that are crossing the limits. Their behavior at the lower point. I do believe even in prison they treat you better.

Its time for me to speak up.

Some care providers are not always paid and therefore, owed thousands and thousands of pounds. Collectively millions over many years. Its a disgrace, theft and pure abuse of power from the council.

As an ex employee of WestNorthamptonshire County Council, I've heard too many stores of this and it shocks me every time a care provider off loads onto me about this, yet they at times are hasseled in picking up lore care packages!! . It's hard to listen to this and have no answers after they tell me all the things they have done, to try to get paid.

How can this happen? Why are care providers having to wait months - years to get paid

There is a reputation that West Northamptonshire is one of the worst Council's for non payment of care providers invoices. I've witnessed this first hand to the point I was told not to ' get involved because it was not my business,' from a commisioner.

Care is given, carers are paid, invoices are put in via a payment system and then they the service are not paid, it's disgusting absolutely shocking.

I enjoyed my job but no longer wanted to be associated with West Northamptonshire County Council and it's terrible reputation, poor management and lack of transparency and honesty.. Its a no one helps no one attitude when there a problem which is a disgrace.

Am really ashamed and also upset that after paying council tax not £1 but hundreds and your environment is full of bins not collected every Tuesday and you call the office all they tell you is wait till the next day and call back. Black bags are everywhere and smells.

After having probably one of the most testing weeks of my life I thought having to come down to the council would only add to my problems of late. I didn't have an appointment and struggle with using any type of customer service over the phone. Fortunately Abbey at the front desk went above and beyond today to help me. She was proactive clear with making me understand the situation that I am in and totally made me feel at ease. I know that the council is overwhelmed with people and not enough housing but you could clearly see how wonderful she was at her job and how much compassion she had for someone in my situation. Thank you Abbey for your customer service and help today you were truly wonderful.

I moved from a city where council did everything to a town where council needs changing !! Do your jobs or we will replace you! All we need is to put a petition in place and I will personally deal with this if you don’t start cleaning the streets. There is no work done in the town center ! You started digging up the streets but you are not finishing it. I have just moved here and because of your attitude , I am already thinking to sell up and move. This town needs a new council!!!

Consistently run into issues with the council in the Northamptonshire area. They send threatening and confusing emails but give you no direct dials and no way to contact individuals directly. The unbelievable fact that no one on a helpdesk or switchboard ‘has the ability to transfer you call’ is a complete fallacy, and simply used to stop you speaking to anyone in the know.
Really unhelpful, rude staff, who seem intent on upsetting and stressing out residents in the Northamptonshire area.
You work for us. Not the other way around. No wonder it’s gone bankrupt, no wonder there is litter all over the town, no wonder we have the worst air quality in the UK. I cannot wait to move away from this council, their incompetence causes me a lot of stress and anxiety. I’d avoid moving to this area, and would avoid involving yourself in this council.
