This post office is run in a very efficient way, the staff a very efficient and friendly and are always very willing to help out if they can. The shop sells a variety of merchandise and there is a vast array of cards for birthdays etc and they are all very well priced. Every single time I use this post office, I am only told the cost of the most expensive way of sending my package. There is always upset if I question if there are cheaper delivery options! This time, the man behind the counter got cross for me choosing to send something “signed for” rather than “special delivery” which saved me £3. He said it wouldn’t be secure enough although it is the advice on the Passport Office to send things “signed for”. My understanding is that “signed for” is secure. And this should be MY choice and should not cause the man behind the counter to get upset with how I choose to spend what I consider a reasonable amount for what should be secure postage! I have experienced this type of service in there 3 or 4 times now when I’ve opted for the cheaper option which I’ve had to ask about. It is never a pleasant or easy exchange! It has left me feeling that if my mail does go awry, it will be because it hasn’t made it out of there. This is the last time I will be using this post office! Terrible customer service!!!

Went to collect parcel till to come back then told they don't hold parcels it's depo . Phoned depo who told me they are wrong . Can't find parcel?

Really impressed with how kind and helpful the staff at this branch are. I have been on a few occasions now and anyone I have interacted with has been very patient and nice. Keep up the great work, it means more than you know.

RUDE STAFF. I will not be using this post office ever again. I came to enquire about my passport that was A) delivered to the wrong address!, it was then opened by some stranger And then taken to the post office for me to collect. When I went in there with my query I was just met with blunt, rude answers from every single one of them behind the counter. I also witnessed peoples parcels being thrown around like they weren’t anything by one of them who was taking in the parcels from a DPD driver, so if your parcel appeared damaged.. this is why!! - he was also relatively blunt to the poor DPD man too! Awful service. If you can use a different post office.. please do.

I visited this post office to renew my photo driving licence ID. I had the my reminder letter with me but i didn't have my drivers licence as I'd misplaced it, i didn't think this was an issue as it states on the letter to explain if you cannot produce it to which i did. The two blokes behind the tills were insistent on the fact i needed it and wouldn't let me renew without it, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I decided to go to the post office in the town centre and suprise, suprise, it wasn't an issue, my photo id was renewed there and then without my drivers licence. Why were they so insistent on having my drivers licence? Use with caution if you hand over your ID for them to take away!!!
