The RAC had quoted £480 to replace the catalytic converter. The day before the work was to be carried out, they phoned to say that they couldn't source one and that if they could, it would be over £1000. This was after confirming that they could carry out the work. One phone call to Tyre Pros later and a catalytic converter was sourced and fitted soon afterwards, for £450. I was really disappointed that the tyre walk in price was not what I was quited on the phone, I paid individual wheel balancing and then fitting and disposal and then was told wheel balancing was required at 70 pounds in top of that. What they dint tell you and I booked on the phone 2 days before is that it's free if you book online. I wanted to get help so I called they didn't tell me this and I felt I was completely done. Going elsewhere next time.
