My mother and family are very worried and very upset as my brother was very poorly and admitted at Lambeth Hospital (Luther King Ward) and he was misdiagnosed for having a learning disability and stopped his psychotic medications. The doctors called me and informed me that he was very unwell and would keep him under section 3 mental health but later discharged after 2 days without informing anyone.

These people are absolutely atrocious they tried tried belittle and intimidate me. I went to visit my mother and this remy man that you see in the picture got in my face when I simply asked for his name. the reason I wanted his name was because of I saw him treating my mother and other patients like animal's. Just because you have mental health it does not mean your an animal why they are being treated in that way really confuses me. I am not sleeping properly at night because I am scared for my mother’s safety and others. Also the Mary woman you see in the photo I asked her to open the door very politely and she flung her hand at me like I was a dog and I asked her not fling me like that she begun to be very vicious. Who ever has there family members in there I suggest you remove them immediately. REMY (also that is not his real name) need to be fired immediately and MARY (probably not her real name) needs to be fired immediately.

This service is appalling.
The staff do not care about patients, there is no therapeutic intervention, patients are voiceless.
A family member was admitted from A&E and was left in the hospital for 5 hours, highly distressed and left to harm themselves for hours on end.
Personal property was lost by staff.
Physical intervention and restraints were used more than mere conversations.
No understanding of patients with co-morbid eating disorders or disorders that are not psychotic, depressive and anxiety related. So staff poor trained.
This is not a good hospital. Do not go here, if you are sectioned then appeal.

Absolutely, the worst hospital I have been to. As a recent patient, there is no recreational activity to participate in. And horrible doctors who threaten to put you on more medication if you disagree with treatment and rightfully try and maintain your dignity and human rights.

Also sexual advances were made to me by a male asian doctor with glasses. He belittled me and also humiliated me several times. This hospital is a disgrace and needs to be shut down for good

I have been trying to contact my mentally I’ll mother who only allows me to contact her and the staff in florance ward make it impossible. They claim she’s not there half the time and put the phone down on me when the other half of the time I can get through to her fine. They are extremely rude. The worst one is the African/carribean receptionist as he just straight up puts the phone down on me and claims my mother isn’t there. If you can’t do you job work somewhere where you’re not the only means of contact with some mentally unstable patients. I can only imagine how they treat the patients if they can’t even be bothered to answer the phone.

Becarefull leaving your loved one with these people. They make things up and team is highly disrespectful towards visitors and if they can treat visitors in such way, what are they doing with patients. Everyone with bad experience should complaint with the local health watch and then with local council. Don't let them get away with
