It's one of the better Weatherspoons I have visited, in a stunning building where you have to walk a mile for the toilets!

The breakfast and service were good, as you get what you pay for here. However, what always lets it down for me is the typical Weatherspoons clientele.

Weatherspoons should put a ban or some sort of restrictions on alcoholic beverages.

As soon as the doors opened, many of the clientele went straight to the bar for a pint on a weekday.

Many of these people stunk and looked doped up and simply should not have been served. I find this disgusting and in away enabling those with these issues to continue ... shame!

Great place prices good food nice but need to change there chip oil more regularly, food prices good to. Can order drinks and food on your phone and they bring it to your table, quick service. Wheelchair and mobility scooter access plenty room to move around the area.

Your typical UK wetherspoon franchise, cheap and cheerful better than most other places I've visited with local drunken people frequenting them other places. But this one is a local better and local community spirit and no hassles, seems busy enough and most seats at tables are booked and seems busy. Staff are welcoming and beer is OK for a quick.pint or two..

Not the best looking Wetherspoons I've been in but the staff make up for that with their friendly and quick service!!!! Food was hot and tasty and the drinks were very welcome after a drive down from Yorkshire. Nice outdoor area to the rear and toilets are downstairs which is a bonus to any spoons....well worth a visit!!!!!

This was our first visit, the pub is large and has plenty of different seating areas. Service at the bar was quick, easy and friendly. Food arrived after about 10 minutes. Good size portions properly cooked and tasty, enjoyed the 11 inch Ham & Mushroom Pizza which is made with fresh ingredients on the premises. Meal was good value as you would expect from wetherspoons. Pleasantly surprised to find the toilets here are on the same level as the pub, nice change not to have to climb 2 flights of stairs to use them 🤣🤣. Good pub, will come back again 🍻

Update: came back again on 25/08/2022
I tried the kentucky fried chicken strips in a basket with chips and a sauce. ( New on the menu ) tasted good, will have it again. Friendly staff and service is still good.

Nice and comfortable Wetherspoon pub, in two historical old buildings, right opersite the old town church. Pub was well run with clean tables by friendly and attentive staff. The food was good too, nice inexpensive afternoon visit.
