Terrible customer service. Called them for problems with our toilet. Getting through to MI6 would have been easier. They sent the rudest ‘engineer’ who was incredibly rude to us and unhelpful. Had a strop that we didn’t know which drain it was. Sorry, isn’t that your job? Pic for reference. Learn some customer skills mate.

Charging people on estimates when being provided with correct up to date meter readings! Tell you that if you get up a direct debit they set the amount on usage they are predicting you to use in 10 months time and won’t reduce it down as they want you to accumulate a credit on the account rather then just paying for what you use each month! They then want you to spend 40 mins going through income expenditures to even think about maybe reducing the cost told the direct debit! Absolute joke of a company never had such bad service in my life!

Called Thames Water - where is our meter, its not been read for years?, Their predictable reply "we dont know, we'll send a man out to find it" Contractor visited. He found it - its knackered, covered in 1 foot of water and mud, wasn't working. So we get back to Thames - how can you legally invoice us, based on consumption if you haven't been measuring our consumption...? Absolut joke of a company. I am very disappointed I have to give you one star. You aren't worth 1 star.

Had a problem with blocked sewerage drain spent an hour on hold with no answer and ended getting someone else out. They found the issue to be with the communal drain so had to get Thames water out anyway. Back on hold again. No rain going on, no freezing weather so no apparent reason why it takes over an hour to get through in an emergency. They answered after 1.5 hours. From that point on it's been exceptional. Very polite and informative operator, fast response and fix. Such a shame that the initial hold time cost me a lot of money and mared the experience

Phoned on Thursday morning about blocked drain. Friday morning 5am got a message saying they would be out within 72hours. Yesterday phoned again at 2.20pm. Told an engineer would phone me within 2 hours. It is now Tuesday morning and still no contact from Thames Water. What am I paying my water rates for!!! Absolutely terrible service. 🤬🤬
