I recently visited this TfL inspection centre for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly atmosphere. This was a stark contrast to other inspection centres I’ve visited in the past.
I brought in my BMW for its renewal inspection, and given that it’s a fairly new vehicle, I was confident it would pass. However, what truly stood out to me was the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. Michael, in particular, was incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain the upcoming TfL regulation changes for next year, which was invaluable information for me. This will definitely help me be more prepared for my next visit.
The centre itself was clean and well-organized, with a comfortable waiting area equipped with refreshments and reading materials. The staff were attentive and ensured that all my questions were answered promptly. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free.
I highly recommend this inspection centre to all PCO drivers. The level of customer service here is outstanding, and I will definitely be returning for my future inspections. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a positive experience!

Staff is rude and rigid. They think they are gods chosen one and everyone else is below ordinary. No respect. They will find baseless things to fail your inspection. I would prefer travelling 50 miles to a different inspection center.

Very well organised got there at 9:35 for 9:40 appointment, it was completed by 10 given keys and documents already.

I'd give this place minus if I could. The man at reception is just outright rude. You can't even say Hello without the guy getting upset. The other guy failed my can because I printed the insurance certificate and not the one that says London taxi 1934 or something. My cab was insured but the certificate did not say the above so failed. Unbelievable. Tfl need to inspect this centre's people and manage it better. The worst thing is on the website the documents required says insurance certificate to be displayed in cab, nothing about the fact that you have to get another certificate that says insured for London taxi 1934 act. 2 weeks worth of work wasted. Why can't Tfl be strict with their staff attitude like they are strict with cab drivers.
