I was actually interested in working for them originally but they can't store their candidate information properly which meant they never sent me a single email. I reported this to the recruitment agency and the issue wasn't solved on either side. Once I managed to get back those emails through my own initiative (they were sent to the wrong person of course, only got to know who through PayStream), it was a month later, and the emails look terrible, something out of the 90's, and they ask you to set up your ID on an Internet Explorer Window. I feel I found a time machine. Update everything, all your projects are doomed to failure if you can't get on top of people's contact details...

Having stated no interest a job role they pitched, their external recruiters have taken to harassment. On a weekly basis, two staff members message me on LinkedIn within minutes of each other to pitch the same role. Each time, they create new accounts to find candidates to get around being blocked. Extremely unprofessional company

If this is how external recruiters behave, one can only wonder what goes on at the firm that employs them.

As a previous member of staff from tech.m I can assure you that, If your looking to be micro managed and not have a voice to be heard of, and looked down by head of operations by whichever position your in whether advisor,sme or TL. This is the place. The head of operation (z) does not contribute to any buisness or wellbeing of any Position. Rather the fact is she tries to get away with minimal effort on any task and evading work,as she is nowhere to be seen majority of office hours. Policy of complaints are to be escalated to sme if you can't resolve this, then to TL. But most likely they tell you to chase with others as they don't like to be disturbed
. So your going in circles. The only ones who actually help within the establishment is the floor walkers. Pay is well compared to other contact centres. However do not recommend if you are not local as if you live far the expenses for travel/public travel is severe. Also there is no canteen that provides hot food or company parking . So you will have to park 10 mins away in residential street. The training is fast paced, knowledgeable but 60% of this is not needed when you are in actual buisnesss or gradbay. Need to spend more time on system and customer service+tech service training which is ideal. aswell group activities to make sure the class isn't falling asleep. If I didn't have previous experience in contact centre I wouldn't have known what I would be doing. Aso there is no sick pay if you are genuinely ill. Everyone has hay-fever apparently. Hard to work as tech agent when you have tech issues yourself most of the time as systems are slow and hard to deal with when the customers on the line, Unless your great at what you do.but I doubt this will get fixed any time soon. But the view is amazing especially when the weathers nice.

Absolutely awful company to work for if I could give 0 starts I would, do not work for this company they hold your wages and don’t pay you on time, absolute shambles of a company don’t know how to treat staff with respect.

Ive been contacted over reed.com.uk and given a slot for interview... I supposed to receive a confirmation email which never been sent ... I tried my best to reach it using Google maps...
l have been another time which was after one hour waiting ... then I came back home...
Ive been contacted over the phone after 6:00 PM without any previous knowledge... so I couldn’t answer... they contacted me next morning starting to ask me a lot of qs about experience.. as if they are already have taken the decision not to employ me... talking. very fast and not giving me the time to explain ... once I mentioned Ive been abroad , she said she didn’t want to continue the process !!!
Why do I need to have ur training for 8 wks from 9-5 in daily basis then !!!!

I just went for an interview today at Mahindra Tech and imagine my surprise when I was told that they can’t hire me because I am not British or EU citizen despite the fact that I ya e Indefinite leave to remain resident permit with right to work in the Uk, and all that because it is a Indian company, who doesn’t have the cover for no Eu or non British.
I was so chocked because it’s the first time to hear about such discriminatory policy.
