Aesthetically the place doesn't look great, definitely needs more care and attention paid to decor. The chap working there was polite, but ended up having to go back 3 days in a row, for a phone I bought and subsequently had to return, I was fairly frustrated by the 3rd day. Went to a different shop and immediately got what I needed without any problems!

The place is very untidy and clearly not looked after very well, the floor doesn't look like it's ever been hoovered. The shelves are mostly bare and the general decor in the shop is poor.

The chap in there didn't seem interested in really helping me with my problem. Very grumpy and wouldn't even make eye contact when we were talking, not to mention the phone was ringing off the hook to which I said feel free to answer it if you like and he said 'No don't worry I never answer phone calls' - doesn't really set a good example for customer service does it? It felt like he was waiting for me to leave, the shop blinds were half open making the place look closed at 10:30 in the morning!

The opening times are changing constantly. The shop was shut for a week and then only open for 4 hours a day. Many times I've come past and it's shut early. I got told Tech Bar was the best place around for repairs, not sure if they've replaced staff recently or whatever but that's definitely not the case now.

I'm a Gillingham resident and would prefer to use our own high street shops, but in future I'll be using Adamant IT in Shaftesbury for any further computer issues, I've never had any issues with him not being open when he said he would be 😔

Great experience. Popped my phone in to have the battery replaced on the way to visit family in Gillingham and was given a really good quote for the work and told that it would be ready in an hour. When I arrived to collect it and pay, the guy in the shop had my phone ready and I was in and out in a jiffy. Friendly and competent service. Good to know there’s a local shop for tech and device help and repair.

Efficient and Fast service from Dorset Tech, dropped off my IPhone for a battery replacement with no appointment needed and an hour later it was fixed! I appreciate all your help with getting it sorted. Great price and service provided.
