Beautiful church in a stunning location. Had tea and cake provided by local volunteers. The more mature graveyard has been left to nature to manage and is a haven for birds, insects and wildlife.

Lovely secluded church with managed gardens. There is a cast iron gravestone in the churchyard, such seems to be quite a rare occurrence in my limited experience. The church wasn't open when I visited on Wednesday afternoon and it would be nice if it was open to the public.

St Lawrence church is a Grade 1 listed building dating back to the C14 though there was a church there prior to the Norman Conquest
As a result of the rector travelling to the Holy Land in 1869 the church displays a mosaic of marble fragments from Rome in the Chancel and granite from the Holy Land whilst the alabaster cross came from a temple near the Sphinx.
