I just went this morning to see doctor Abbas. He was absolutely amazing, he made it very clear on what the issue was and was extremely helpful with everything. Thank you again doctor Abbas.

The form in the reception is way too much to need to fill in. Whose idea was that? Way too much to explain. Life can be easier than that

The five star is for doctors Abbas not you lot

I would like to say thank you to all the Specialist Chemo Cancer nurses on Heartwood wars who have been looking after me through my treatment. I have just had 4 x EC Chemo so half way through and have just started Paclitaxel. Thank you to Holly, Becca and Roma especially where I have been down, the care by everyone is outstanding, sorry if I've missed anyone. What I would like to do is give a big shout out to my pharmacist Kamwaljit, she has been excellent. She listened when the Ec Chemo and steroids gave me a severe drop on my first round and tweaked the Chemo for the 2nd round with the Steroids, to give me a better experience, if you can have one on this poison. As much as the nurses are brilliant ? so is the Pharmicist looking after me..... thank you so much Kamwaljit for listening and taking time out for me too. Lisa Cowan.

Not impressed attended with my mother as a nhs referral.....basically told by a specialist if something happened under anaesthetic then they didnt have the facilities and woud have to call the L&D and that could take 1/2 hour .... scared my mother who then decided not to use them. Odd I wonder how many other patients have been told this ......age is irrelevant you can still go into cardiac arrest at 20 . Specialist also fobbed off questions when i asked him, I would seriously be concerned about having any treatment here, also my doctor confirmed they do not have the facilitites to cope with cardiac issues if they arise,,,,,,choose another hospital ....Appalled ....Also no reply required by the Hospital as its not you I am addressing this to but others who are thinking of using your hospital.

The hospital messed up the appointment. My wife had back injections & hospital called her back to be inspected by the Dr. When turned up we were advised that the Dr has left for the day. Truly shocking. No one seemed to take the responsibility of this cock up.

Great experience at the hospital, but quite difficult to book the appointment.
From the receptionists and the porters, to the nurses, until the doctor it was my best experience in the hospital, despite the quite difficult, for the patience, procedure (gastroscopy). Everyone was extremely kind, supportive, polite and professional.
The only issue I got was when I was trying to book the appointment and I was bounced among several numbers without any luck. I managed to get it, only looking up the doctor and his pa and booking directly from them.

Worst hospital ever in terms of trying to make an appointment. Been trying to make an appointment for over 3 weeks for a investigative procedure. Firstly booking line is too busy and I'm told someone will call back within 48 hours - they never did. Called again and was told to wait for a callback which never came. Called again, then received an email at 5pm asking me to clarify the procedure I wanted despite having told 3 separate people on the phone.
Decided to speak directly to consultant's secretary who had a voicemail saying she was on leave and to call outpatients to book. Called outpatients, they said they can't make bookings and transferred me to in+patients. In-patients then tell me that they can't make appointments and that only consultant or his secretary can make the booking. So essentially if someone is on leave then nobody is able to book an appointment for the whole time that person is off? What a joke. Probably would have been quicker and less stressful on the NHS!
Not sure what I'm paying for if it's not for convenience/priority service?!?! Honestly, the most basic of things like booming an appointment seems to difficult for them to handle!

A truly outstanding experience from a technically brilliant group of people working in perfect coordination as a team. A hip replacement operation for me, and everything was clearly explained and set our for me from the get-go. The anaesthesia and operation went very smoothly (again well-explained in advance so I was left with 'no surprises'). And then post-operative care has felt like living inside a well-functioning clock for two days - a raft of technical experts (nursing, pharmaceutical, catering, portering, imaging, physiotherapeutic, administrative staff) have come and gone in perfect synchronicity. The staff are lovely and full of care. (And the food is great!). Great job and very many thanks...
