The rude staff make it worth the visit! It's laughable really. Blonde aging lady clearly unhappy , snapped at me after I pointed out I'd been over charged (which was an honest mistake ) just rude and sour faced in general, everything seems to much trouble! I felt uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave the store , a didn't dare to ask about the post office I was hoping to use , I have had previous bad experience with the same member of staff, as has everyone else I know locally, I mean if your going to rip People off with high prices at least do it with a smile!

Are a new member of staff here I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at items that are stocked here, a huge selection of freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and veg and a butchers shop, post office and a large selection of cheese, cooked meats, wines, non alcoholic and although beverages. In fact everything you could ever wish for in a village shop

This is a great local shop, butchers and post office. They often have good offers on various produce. It's well stocked and good choices of food, drink, household stuff, fresh produce etc. Now offering cash back as well.

Been shopping in this little shop for 3 years now and I must say I've not come across a more miserable bunch of workers, apart from the lady with the coloured hair! Not a smile, no good morning and most times no thank you! And to say I was shocked last evening is an understatement. My son went to the shop to get us a bottle of wine for our anniversary and was met by the comment well that's not essentials! First of all, who does this young "lady" think she is to dictate what classes as essentials and secondly, if the shop owners take it upon themselves to decide what items are essentials then surely they should either, put up a sign saying alcohol unavailable at present or shut that aisle. He was also chastised for paying with cash! Again, a sign would surely be helpful? In these times of uncertainty surely a little celebration or community spirit would go a long way?
