Myself and my family could never thank Jack from Slaters enough. He said he would bring Mum to Slaters for us to visit her on her birthday and he fulfilled that. He made a an unpleasant experience into a very calming and settling experience.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and he was so respectful to all of us.
This is the third time that Slaters have been there for us for our family bereavements and I cannot recommend them enough.

We have used Slaters of Horsforth for many years for family members funerals. You can always be guaranteed a special first class service. We recently used Slater to arrange the funeral of late mother in law, and from them collecting the body to the funeral day Slaters were amazing, more importantly Jack who took care of us was amazing, showed a lot of empathy to the family, took on the job of sorting the funeral with us, and made the process so much easier. He was always only a phone call away, and nothing was too much. Thankyou Slater and especially thank you Jack and Colleagues. You made the funeral very special, and always have.

Slaters were so compassionate and thoughtfull when my partner passed. Their help and guidance through the process were excellent and were there for us whenever we needed to ask a question or ask for advice. Jack and all the team at Slater's have been amazing at sorting all the arrangements for my Mum's funeral from start to finish. Jack sorted out a major complication regarding Mum's burial for which we will be forever grateful. Thank you for introducing us to a lovely minister called Mark, organizing beautiful flowers, wonderful caterers for the wake, the order of service and everything else. My family have used Slater's of Horsforth for other members of my families funerals. I would always highly recommend them. Jack and the team provide a friendly, compassionate, professional service. Nothing too much trouble and lots of practical advise, help and empathy.

From the first time i spoke to Jack at Slaters I found him efficient, knowledgeable & very calming which was very extremely helpful at such an emotional & stressful time. We all felt happy to put our Dad in such capable & friendly hands. Jack was on the ball & always reachable with any queries we had. Our Dad was quite quirky so Jack helped us choose the perfect & appropriate service, we had a Yorkshire Wool coffin, an unusual Order of Service & instead of top hats the drivers & Jack wore flat caps & ties from Dads bright tie collection. Jack arranged for family to see Dad at the Chapel of Rest, this could have been a very emotional & difficult visit but Jack made everyone feel comfortable & Dad was well dressed & beard trimmed beautifully. Jack recommended a great Celebrant Carl Keeting who was perfect for our needs, he listened to us talk about Dad at our pre service meetings & then gave a service that was fitting & amusing in the right places, just as Dad would have wanted it. I would highly recommend Slaters, your loved ones will be in good hands. ?

I would recommend Slater's to anyone. They could not have been more helpful with the funeral of my father. They were able to help with all my requests and were incredibly good at offering options and suggestions. At such a difficult time, Jack was reassuring and not obtrusive and I will forever be grateful that he led me through a very challenging time.
