Beautiful historic little pub nestled on a back road in Ivinghoe near the church. With a lovely little terraced garden sun trap, plus some tables out the front. In winter there’s always a snuggly wood fire on the go. All the staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming from our very first visit. Mick who owns the pub and works his utter magic in the kitchen has a brilliant menu on the go. Everything is delicious from full roast dinners (the best you’ll taste) to pastas, fish cakes, burgers and lots more. Definitely our absolute fave ❤️

Fantastic pub in a great location - good choice of well kept local ales and the mushroom risotto was one of the best I've had (I say this having returned from Italy just 6 weeks previously).

I had a very enjoyable lunch. The food was good the service was quick. A reservation for 4 was made before hand as they can get busy. On arrival drinks were offered and we were shown to our table. They had popular foods on the menu. We order the Sunday roast and fish and chips. The waitresses kept a check on us to make sure we had everything we wanted. They have outside seating as well, we will definitely make this our Sunday pub for lunch.

Braised and ready, this dish is a true surprise on the tongue! @Mick your a ✨! Delicate fragrance of aniseed flecked greens, deep rich beef sauce, and cheeky proper chip-stack on the side. A perfect blend of crisp, smooth and chewy ... Enjoy!

Delicious food, great staff, beautiful building, garden and its surroundings. If you hike through Ivinghoe you have to stop here. We had an amazing lunch with one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had for dessert. I highly recommend the pumpkin ravioli. There's plenty of space for social distancing and a one way system.
