Great to be able to view the Lifeboat up close when they open it to visitors.
Don't forget the Lifeboat launches most Tuesdays on the summer 1900.

Amazing to see the RNLI practice launch. It's worth timing your visit to see this. My 5 year olds and 11 year old all were intrigued with the whole process. Lots of information posted around the boathouse and all the volunteers were more than happy to answer any of your questions. Such a great ½ day visit.

Interesting place to visit if you can find it. The small car park, RNLI and beach seem to be a secret with very few signs. There's a overflow car park, also unsigned. Food available from a trailer.

Interesting but closed out of season. Great to be able to walk the pier and public toilets are open. Car park £1.80 for 1hr in 2022

This is a review of the tour from the nearby Warner Hotel, run by 'patch', the local guide.
Patch likes to talk, but is highly knowledgeable of all things local and its connections to the RNLI. Therefore, I recommend his tour before doing anything in Bembridge. He explains the origins of the Bembridge RNLI and the new (2010) life boat station for the larger Tamar class boat and the smaller inland inflatable boats. Just fascinating from start to finish.
