Have used Risboro' Car & Cycle parts in the past but this time for a complete road-bike refurb. Dom stripped and rebuilt my tired & used 12 year old 'Cube' bike and has absolutely transformed it! Dom always provides excellent customer service, great comms and a very fair price.

We called in unannounced with a broken cable issue. He was really helpful, had a look immediately. Lots of riders head for coffee in PR, so it is really useful to have such a good bike shop close by.

As a regular recreational bike user, it was a disaster one recent weekend when my (long overdue for a service) derailleur got caught up in my rear wheel spokes and caused a good bit of damage. One email to Dominic had the bike in the shop the next Monday and in great shape by the end of the day. I can't recommend Dominic more

Nov 2022 - Had a full service including a new chain, cables and brakes. Bike transformed. Dom is trustworthy and reliable. Also provides useful tips and is not pushy. Highly recommended.

Excellent, I’m a casual rider and needed a new inner tube, Dom the owner quickly and courteously replaced it, he checked my gears and made a complementary adjustment, he also spotted another issue with a slightly loose rear wheel, he didn’t try to sell me any parts but instead took the wheel off and found some tightening was needed to the hub (a more unscrupulous person could have suggested a new part was needed). Provided good tips and advice and showed me some maintenance tips, you really couldn’t want for more, same great service the next 2x times I visited. Superb. Good location.

Had my Trek Checkpoint serviced here - Dom does an excellent job and is very knowledgable. Fitted the new cassette, chainring and chain I needed at a very reasonable price. Pointed out that the brake-pads were wearing but did not need replacing quite yet. Very happy with the service received.
