Beware!! I cannot believe this company are still operating. They are scammers. They told me they had saved me £6k and charged me 20%. I then spoke with the local council and they said the only saving was £600.

ReRates were furious and said it was in the small print that o could not communicate with the VAO and a futher £1500 would be charged.

Complete and utter waste of time and money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! We paid our fee in August 2022. A claim was not made and our money has not been returned as 'promised'. Impossible to contact the very illusive 'Jack' (director, apparently) and calls are not returned, emails ignored. I have chased them for a refund for OVER 12 MONTHS. Staff are now being rude and difficult when I waste my time calling. Having done some digging, the company have not filed their accounts and in the process of being struck off. I don't understand how they are still operating a business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are thieves, plain and simple!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY - 18 months of wasted time, was always chasing, finally sent 2 people out to measure, I was then asked to take further photographs myself, did this and once again have gone silent, very very frustrating experience, do not waste your time or money

This companies communication is Terrible never call you never update been waiting 15 months everytime they give you false updates always contradictory from last. Don’t use it’s a waste of money Up until 13 months was in challenge stage then they lost my application apparently just lies upon lies. If they don’t get you a refund you won’t get any of your money back as they tell you first when surveyor comes round. Real bad experience start to finish high staff turnaround.

We paid, under schoolyard pathetic pressure, for a £1700 "survey"...as a result was told we would receive a circa £5,500 rebate but ONLY if we paid their commission up front. By this point I was nervous of their very pushy sales technique so demanded in writing commitment to rebate and that we would be refunded commission if it was to not surface for some reason with 5 working days.

3 months, 28 emails, 16 phone calls....the total rebate was £96. Despite numerous calls...we only had 1 call from a manager promising resolution within 24 hours and only after threatening legal action...but still nothing...

Hand on heart please do not trust this company...it is a total scam that promise the earth...fail to deliver...and then when you try to pursue for refund just shut you out.

We are are in the process of reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman to begin legal proceedings to recoup circa £6k of cost to us...

In truth I was never 100% convinced in their pledges as it always struck me as slightly dodgy...but because we got written pledges of refund should the rebate failed we continued..but instead now have to pursue legal measures to recoup the funds...which although we will get as the contract is legally binding...we know was done in the hope that we would give up.

Essentially it is a scam targeting businesses who in the face of covid repercussions and rising costs are just looking for a fair deal...instead you get thieves...

Well this company is appalling and definitely led me up the garden path. As they say there is one born every minute and in this case it was me. When I signed up for them to check and get the rates re-evaluated with the VOA I was informed that the process was on a no win no fee basis. Nearly 18 months later and a negative result I'm £2,500 down which they have kept for what appears to be little work. I have had 2 caseworkers in that time who both left the company. I would say that the work that they carried out was lacklustre at best. I would basically say to anyone out there do not use this company or at the very least get it in writing that the process is a no win no fee. It does upset me that the owner of companies like this are allowed to operate in the UK. I have given them a 1 star review as there isn't an option for 0 stars.

Rateable value experts is currently working on 2 business locations for me. They have returned with over 50% reduction in my business rateable value for one of the locations. That is a massive saving. They are currently working on the second location. Great.

Scammers. Very quick to take your money and give a Mickey Mouse guarantee which they won’t stand behind

We followed their process through to completion, nominating them to act on our behalf. The council rejected the original application and then the appeal in May.

Since then, no one will call me back to address my refund and when we asked who do we address our written complaints to, we were told to send it to “The Occupier…”. Says it all really.
