My son has loved going to piano lessons with Henry over the past 18 months or so. He particularly enjoys Henry's enthusiasm for Jazz which has really helped his motivation to practice. Henry is a patient and thorough teacher. Highly recommend!

Henry Botham is a fantastic piano teacher and I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to start learning the piano. Our son has remote lessons on zoom and they work really well. He has gained so much from Henry.

Henry is an excellent piano tutor, specialising in New Orleans music. I benefitted a lot from his lessons, he is very knowledgable in the tradition of New Orleans piano playing, and New Orleans pianists. He helped me improve my hand independence, provided useful N.O piano licks and gave excellent pieces and practice techniques to work on for my piano practice. We used sheet music but emphasised the importance of using it as a guide, rather than playing exactly what was written on the page, so that my piano playing style was prioritised. We also used aural techniques so that we didn't only rely on the sheet music.
