I think this public resource is fantastic- I use it all the time and have only ever found staff to be helpful and social with people.

My nephew was over recently and loved the play area, the children's books are brilliantly selected and in great condition.

A great place to spend time.

This library provides an excellent service, including audiobooks. You can reserve books online from any local library and they get delivered for collection. I’ve managed to save money by cancelling audible and borrowing books instead of buying them.

Unacceptable poor and slow service at the desk. The problem is mainly the librarians are past the retirement age and its time to recruit younger staff who are passionate about their job.

Very clean and quite plus free Internet access via one of there PCs or via their free easy to access wifi. You must be a member of the library to use the PCs but i think anyone can use the wifi. It also has a good museum with items from the Ramsbottom area. More than just a library i think they have classes there also
