Ignore the ridiculous reviews on here, I've been 3 times in the last few weeks since Woodhouse Eaves post office closed and the chap on the counter has been super helpful every time and very friendly. Good opening hours and easy parking.

Extremely unhelpful irritating rude condescending man, massive queues and it’s usually closed when it should be open. They refuse to take anything slightly big. Don’t go there just drive to another branch.

Lived in Quorn for 18 years, and I will do anything to avoid going to this Post Office - I'll use the one on Forest Road in Loughborough, or Mountsorrel. The guy that runs it - 'Bob' I think his name is, is incredibly rude, miserable, clearly hates being there and just horrible to deal with. - even for the simplest and quickest of tasks.
Moving soon, thank goodness, and can't wait to have a better PO as my local. Any in the country I would argue would be better than this.

Inconsiderate and rude guy who opens as and when he wants not adhering to his listed opening hours. Not a good example of a post office.

There's only one solitary person serving, if he's available. Don't even bother going here if it's at peak periods and especially before Christmas. The Postmaster General should either revoke his license or force him to employ help to deal with the public. This is a very poor service and villagers, especially the elderly who might have problems going elsewhere or standing in line for lengthy periods, aren't offered the service that they deserve.

Regrettably, the service I here is not very professional. I don't like the fact that your parcels are left in the shop and not secure behind the counter.
However, the main issue for me is the inconsistency of the opening hours. The post office is crucial to the village. Its infuriating to turn up only to it's ,closed for a few hours or closed all day. It's meant to be a business not a hobby.

Bob provided phenomenal customer service. I go into this post office of a regular basis and I am always greeted by with a smile and kindness. Bob is extremely professional and provides excellent advice and service. I highly recommend it post office. I would go as far to say, it is the best post office in the UK. Thank you for the excellent service.

I've resigned to the fact that this is most certainly a place i will NEVER go again...so I may aswell share my experiences of this terrible post office, which for a village like Quorn, is unfortunately being let down by the staff that is running it. Every time, without fail you queue. We're not talking 2-5 min queue, we are talking 10..15 ...20 minutes. There is NO sense of urgency, no common sense that the shop is FULL of annoyed people. Today, a simple prepaid QR code baffled him ( I say "him" because there is just 1 solitary guy there at all times) refused to print it and argued with me in front a line of customers waiting. The code printed off a prepaid address label to stick on a parcel /letter. I saw it after he'd finally print it. It had an address on it, looked perfect to me. He said it didn't look "right " and refused to give it to me stating it should have a " tracked 48" on it. It was a large letter. Its never going to have that on it if I've not chosen yo send it that way! I was absolutely shocked with his attitude. I left, went straight to Mountsorrel where a smiley, wonderful lady did EXACTLY the same and it was zero problem for her.
I've been in before and he's been on the shop floor. His mobile started ringing and he went to answer it and had a full on private phone call whilst I stood waiting like a muppet!!
I have to say aswell that I don't agree with the bags of parcels left on the shop floor for anyone to simply take! You have to put your parcels in yourself..then leave them on the shop floor whilst he sits behind a locked door! It makes zero sense and is so unsafe!

For future reference- just drive 5 minutes to Mountsorrel Post Office instead. You'll probably be served much quicker anyway !!!! I'd give it zero stars if I could. Such a shame this village is being let down.
