Since change of ownership this garage has taken a turn for the worse it still has expensive fuel and now the jet washes are constantly broken

Dreadful service, my friends car was literally about to breakdown due to No fuel, and she had forgotten her purse at a destination she had just come from. She asked the lady Clare behind the till if there was anyway she could put £5 in she would be happy to complete a form with all of her details, and even showed the lady her bank balance to show her that she had the funds to pay, but at the point could not get home or to the place to collect her bank card and return back. Clare was very cold, unsympathetic to the point that she even shouted at me as I was leaving the store because I told her she lack community spirit and refused to help someone who was in need. She refused to authorise the pump, and had already made a negative assumption. I’ve tried contacting a manager to raise my complaint but yet have had no response. I was most shocked by the way Clare shouted at me as I exited the shop because I respectfully challenged her decision.

I normally avoid petrol stations that are also food stores but find this one to be very efficient , service generally with a smile , and s good range of food and drink on offer .

Lovely staff very warm and bubbly atmosphere, was in the process of changing to a Budgens so stock being changed. Fantastic location, great availablity
