Nice niche place to visit . Small harbour side with booth selling fresh fish . A couple of pubs to hand - including an award winning micro pub . Nice views out to the Swale .
Still a pleasant small place to visit - particularly on a calm sunny day . Good views . Pubs and tea shop available in area.

Lovely market every Saturday in the summer, people selling hand made crafts, good pubs and a lovely tea rooms called bosun very dog friendly. Nice little harbor to have a stroll around.

Since arriving at Queenborough Harbour in September 2021 mooring our 8m Catamaran "Two Minds" the service has been outstanding. David and his team, Rob, Danielle, Chris, Dennis and Harry are always helpful. Using regularly the Trot Boat has been extremely convenient to and from the All Tide Landing. Thanks everyone for all your help

Looks great when the water is high, but at low tide it's quite depressing and resembles a post apocaliptic movie scene where all the water evaporated.

My relations used to live in the High Street so this visit for me was nostalgic for me as I hadn't been back here since I was just a little child (some 60 years ago) ! 😔

Certain things (in my eyes hadn't changed) , the Sea wall and surrounding Creek etc.

One thing that had definitely disappeared (thank goodness), was the "Glue Factory", which to my knowledge had the same appeal as the modern day obnoxious smell as being near a KFC (or other similar brands), air frying exhaust outlet. Strange how suddenly being back to a particular place conjures up instant memories (lol).
However what was good was that the locals had bonded together to celebrate what they are describing as "Independance Day" and had many local stalls on display selling a diverse arrange of items varying from works of art (of local landmarks), to home made Gins, Preserves, Ice Cream etc.
Apparently the population of Queenborough surrendered to the Dutch forces in June 1667, but due to an 'Administration Error' it was never officially handed back until 17th June 1967 ! 😬
Now how true this is, I cannot say, other than I thinking back to around that date, I would surely have remembered something occurring (with my family connection etc), or them talking about this memorious occasion. But then again time has flown by, so who knows 🤔

Quaint, calming and full of history, great pubs and a cafe nearby, great views and a lovely walk along the waters edge , suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
