In all my experiences with the surgery, I have to say they are fantastic. The ease of booking appointments, the friendliness of the receptionists and their understanding when you are distressed (which in most cases is why your contacting the GP to begin with) and the GPs are so helpful. I moved to this surgery about a year back now, having moved from Dartford before, and the experience I have had is like night and day compared to where I came from.

Thank you to everyone at the Purfleet Care Centre. As someone who has medical health issues and anxiety, having your support and availability really means the world to me ❤️

Dear all,

I am surprised with previous reviews about this care centre.
For me works perfectly fine specially because I have a toddler and to get appointments for him is pretty easy and they really provide to me amazing support!
I do not have any complains about them and I really appreciate how they provide assistance to our family.
So in my case I give 5 stars and thank you for all the help and support! ♥️

Very rude and unprofessional receptionists. I understand that there is a process but you are dealing with PEOPLE! They need to do better. Customer service is 100% lacking. Very disappointing

Rude and amazingly unhelpful.
This is my local doctors and there is an issue every time I need the simplest task like a repeat prescription giving.
The staff in reception are the most arrogant people I’ve ever come across which is unreal considering this is meant to be a health centre 0/10

This is my local surgery and the service is appalling. Takes over 2 days just to provide a blood test form which should be available on the spot like clockwork as it's routine. Especially when the GP says it should be available the same day and the receptionist says you need to wait for a text before you come to collect which is days later. And the rationale behind this is that the GP on the phone is a locum so doesn't have access to the system to provide the blood test form. Why don't you just give the locum access so that it can be processed the same time?!

First time attending since the horrendous running of the Virgin Health days. Have to say the new online booking ( not ideal for all ) was brilliant, quickly easy and the new receptionist's are friendly and very helpful. Nice turn around whoever's put these new practices and staff in place 👏🏻

On the 11th of September, I walked into the surgery at 8am, to be greeted in a hostile manner by a blonde receptionist with glasses, I was with my mum trying to book an appointment and she said rudely we had to call in.
My mum is older and usually walks in for appointments.
Which would have been fine! I was about to walk outside to call until another receptionist walked in, they are black (like me and my mum) and the receptionist goes to the woman and my mother and goes “oh does SHE usually serve you” , a racist micro aggression which was seriously uncalled for.
Anyways we managed to get the appointment but I believe that the blonde receptionist needs to go to some racial sensitivity training.
