The garden centre is nice, the train is good. But the cafe is just awful. The service is poor and slow. Unwelcoming. They never have the food you want or pack up breakfast early. When you get your coffee it's not even that great.
Won't be coming back, one two many bad experiences.

Outrageously overpriced. 2 bacon sandwiches, 2 hot drinks and a small slice of cake for 28 pounds is unbelievable considering how poor quality it is. Flimsy bread that had obviously just come out of the freezer and a couple of bits of bacon. Coffee not even from a proper machine. Staff can't even be bothered to smile and the place is literally falling down with buckets everywhere to catch the rain. Hugely disappointing. You cannot be charging that kind of money.

What a great garden centre. Huge choice of plants,bulbs and gifts. Loads of parking. Be careful not to end up in the queue for the car wash when you leave. Rather congested around this area.

Lovely garden centre & very friendly staff in the cafe. The vegan chocolate cake was very tasty. Had a nice surprise near the checkouts, see the photo's! Look forwarded to visiting again earlier in the day so have more time to explore as we arrived an hour before closing.

Great variety of garden products and seasonal including Christmas etc... Cater for children with play area and great cafe. Little railway runs sometimes around the garden centre but separate. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Prices competitive.

Used to love bringing my little one here, to the soft play and then for lunch, however the soft play is absolutely filthy, I don't think it ever gets cleaned, if she crawls on the hard floor she comes out with dark dirt marks on her hands and knees. She has been getting ill after every visit. The food is okay but very pricey and service takes ages. You can expect to be waiting up to 20 mins in the queue of just a few people. Really hope management improve the cleaning.

Fairly regular visitor to this chain garden centre. Easy parking, usually good display and choice of plants, landscape and accessories. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, mostly self service. The menu is more extensive, descriptive than the reality - but value for money.
The clothing section is always well stocked, frequently has good discounts on offer and I have impulse bought many items over the years- good quality and value
Staff in garden are friendly, helpful - level of product knowledge does vary.
