If I could give zero stars I would, staff downstairs are great, some staff upstairs need retraining. In my experience, Carl was passive aggressive and condescending, the rest of the staff I dealt with were unhelpful. If you have the option - go somewhere else.

The advisors themselves are great but security not so 30mins early for appointment, got told to wait outside or come back wouldn't even let me sit downstairs out of the cold

Friendly, genuine hardworking staff that will support you back into work. Providing you do actually want to work. It's not a place you go for afternoon tea.

Absolutely appalling. Are they really trying to help people find a job or are they more concerned with getting as many people on JSA and UC as humanly possible? I reluctantly went in here after being unemployed, I went in for help to find a job. I was ever so desperate and I needed some general advice and help to find a full time job. As soon as I sat down the main focus was getting me "signed on". I went along as who wouldn't like free money whilst looking for a job? As I am very young, my JSA was declined. I asked for further advice on how I could find a job and the answer I received was "try signing up for UC" despite the fact my partner has a well paid, full-time job making me exempt from UC. The staff just DO NOT listen at all. I felt extremely out of place and staff put everyone who walks in under the same umbrella and it is horrendous. I didn't want money, I wanted a job and all the "JOBSEEKERS" could offer me was "sign up and try again". Absolute waste of my time and not to mention the amount of time spent writing out jobs I did apply for, this was for no reason at all. It seems the staff don't really have a clue what is going in their own office. I am now back in full time employment thanks to myself. The government physically cannot help an active, hard working job seeker find a job. They just want to give you free money on benefits! I will never, ever go here again. I'd give it a 0 if I could!
