We were allocated these after our gran was released from hospital and some of the carers are wonderful who cant do enough, but we have had some turn up at 7.30pm instead of the agreed 9pm to put gran to bed. she may be old but she doesn't want to go to bed at that time. the excuse been I need to pick my husband up. (get another job then love) we have had them turn up late in a morning and at dinner, like today 26/3/16 they shouldhave been here at 12.15pm still no sign and its now 13.47pm, good job I'm here to empty her cafeter and feed her or she would starve and the urine would go back to her bladder and she would be back in hospital. ive rung today and was told the time had changed to 13.10pm, hang on a minute it would be nice to have been told this but even now there still not here. my gran is also incontinent this is why we have them has I have to let her have some dignity with me been a male so I cant change her, these people only after come change her I do the rest feed her etc and they get paid the same as if they were doing it all. I would strongly advice you to look about for someone else as these are useless. its more down to the management than the carers as some are brilluiant especially Janine.
