Well where do I start, on a good note the staff in reception were friendly but all goes downhill from there. Not sure where all the raving reviews are coming from. This place is awful. Looks great outside but when got in to the room it noticeably stunk of musty smoke. Room was changed promptly only to be greeted to the same problem. Turns out it's black mould. Other family members had similar issues with their rooms too. Extraction units don't work in bathroom. Mould everywhere covered over with gloss, door frame rotting out and shower hose sprayed more water out than the head does.
Just topped off with what was possibly the worst breakfast I've ever had at a hotel chain. Inedible bacon l, could only explain that it tasted cooked in engine oil. Refund request for that was granted as ended up with a price of toast and coffee for 11 quid.

I was really surprised at the poor reviews this hotel received for August. Three of us stayed here for 3 nights, all in spearate rooms (and spread over the two floors). The rooms were clean and fairly modern, the bathrooms likewise and everything worked. The former pub directly next door is used for breakfast and this was fine with plenty of just cooked food, Staff were reasonably pleasant and helpful. |There are a few bad reviews for the same month we stayed and none of us experienced any of the issues mentioned. Sure the building is a bit tired on the outside but thats not so important. Its not the Ritz but we all thought it was pretty good value for the money.

Even though the address is Skipton, it is located in the village of Gargrave, with easy access to a train station, a picturesque canal and path, 2 great pubs and a fish and chip shop. The staff at the Premier Inn were lovely. Very helpful and friendly particularly the excellent staff at breakfast which was very tasty with lots of choice. Good road access to all of Yorkshires attractions.

Thrills with very nice and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful ||However the hotel seems to be undergoing some restructuring and the availability of beers in the bar was limited. ||All film both evenings of the stay the menu was limited with no pizzas and no buns for the burgers. ||Also on the second morning at breakfast they had run out of fruit salad in the morning and it was clear that there was a limited number of staff having to support the guests. ||Considering all the above I would again emphasize the helpfulness of the staff but was disappointed at the limitations on the evening menu. ||Also the outside of the building was beginning to look a little tired with gutters obviously not having been cleared and there were some carpet where in the restaurant.

We used the hotel as a quick stop over. The greeting from hotel staff was lovely, really friendly. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The room, especially the bathroom could do with updating a bit but it was fine for our quick stay over.

Excellent customer service, friendly and professional. Zoe was particularly helpful and went over and above to help us with our request. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable and we had a nice full breakfast too. Would definitely recommend!

Our room was clean, well equipped but would benefit from having TWO comfortable chairs. Staff at the Inn were friendly and efficient but the let down was the pub next door. A general feeling of"run down" staff less efficient and enthusiastic. Breakfast not quite up to the usual standard so with very poor reviews we choose to eat elsewhere at lunch time and evenings, also breakfast after the first day. Very large pot holes at the car park entrance need fixing too

A warm welcome here very late at night having driven down from Scotland. |A clean, comfortable room and hearty breakfast with a walk along the canal.|Anna was so friendly and professional catering to our needs, especially mine which is gluten free?
