Only really skirted the park while travelling to Ringley Woods via Drinkwater on The Kingfisher Trail.. Which is worthwhile.

There looks to be plenty of places to explore, with lots of birds and other wildlife. The 13 Arch Viaduct is also close. It looked clean and well maintained in parts, and wild in others; which I like.

I'll try and spend more time when I'm next in the area.

Great place for walk, play in play ground with your child and bike cycling. There is a plenty of walking trails, river, water streams and woodlands. Great place to take children as there is playing area and inexhaustible amount of walking tracks.

Such a good park to explore with accessible paths to most places. Easy to go off beaten track though, just avoid all the bike paths! Garden near the abandoned house is beautifully maintained. Also great to link with other parks including Clifton and drink water, could spend all day there and still not see every path it has to offer.

Great place for walking but look out for cyclists! The entrance where the car park is, is a bit off the beaten track. Nice children's play area. Would be great if Bury Council could find the money to finish the buildings renovations.
