Signed my teenager (who is autistic and has ADHD) up for tutoring at Numberworks. First of all, Catherine is so accommodating and welcoming. All his needs were understood and catered for. He has managed to attend, make progress and actually really enjoy learning. I couldn’t recommend Numberworks enough.

NumberWorks'n Words is a lovely and supportive team for my son. He is now 11 and more than ready for secondary school. The way they work with children is amazing, my son feels so confident and his efforts and results are always very appreciated. I totally recommend. My son does English and maths always and sometimes we had to change the dates of the week, so he has seen most of the tutors, and he always comes back home with a smile on his face, talking about his accomplishments. We are absolutely thrilled with the progress our daughter has made since starting with you. The problems she had stemmed from not understanding the basics and this in turn affected her confidence. The fear became a barrier to her learning.
Thanks to number works our daughter now says maths is her favourite subject. She loves it and has come on leaps and bounds. Interestingly her spelling and reading have also massively improved and we believe this is due to the confidence number works gave her.

My daughter started Maths and English sessions when she was in Year 4. We wanted to keep our options open in case we wanted to send her to a private secondary school. She lacked confidence and got pretty average reports from school. After 2.5 years at Numberworks she has blown us all away, her confidence has rocketed and she not only got into the secondary school of our choice, but she got an academic scholarship. I can’t thank Luke, Janine & Rebecca enough! I should also mention how much my daughter enjoys her sessions at NumberWorks - she loves going!

NumberWorks'nWords Hitchin has been great for my daughter (year 4) she started just over a year ago with English Lessons, and since April this year has done both English and Maths. Lessons were on line though lockdown and the summer and really helped, so much so that she has no catch up areas identified, and recently was awarded star learner award in school for helping her desk partner with column addition and subtraction.
