We had a lovely stay in this lovely big, comfortable house. Went as a family of 3 generations, enough space & bathrooms for everyone. Could be together, but enough spaces to separate. Nice garden with great view of the boats. Dog friendly, kid friendly. Enjoyed the hot tub. Hosts were informative & helpful & quick to sort out small issues. Would recommend & would return.

This was a fantastic venue and location for our annual get together. The house was presented in excellent condition, bedrooms were clean and beds comfortable. The inside abs outside spaces were perfect for what we needed…I could have stayed a week! It’s a great starting place for either a day on the Broads or a trip to the beach. There are also two excellent pubs within easy walking distance.

One of the best properties we have stayed in in the UK!

Large rooms, conveniences, spectacular views and very safe and secure for our whole family (baby and dog).

Hot tub is perfect and the views out to the river are awesome.

The location is perfect, beautiful village and the property is only a few minutes walk away from the Riverside.

We also found Horning very convenient for exploring Norfolk (the Broads and the beaches etc).

We will definitely stay again.

Thank you so much for having us!

Perfect location and beautiful home for our short break to Norfolk. Close to renting boats on the broads. The hot tub made for a nice luxury on our break also.

Wonderful holiday at Villa Morea with our son, daughter in law, granddaughter (2) and daughter. Layout gives everyone plenty of space both for privacy and when everyone is together. Ideal garden for granddaughter to play in with lovely view of the river and passing boats to wave at. Ideal location within easy access of a variety of activities for all ages and a short walk into Horning for shops and pubs. A couple of rooms could do with a little bit of TLC but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of our stay

We stayed at villa Morea 24th May to the 31st May 2021 and it is everything and more what it says on the tin. When we arrived the weather was awful and it rained for our first couple of days. Not that this was a problem as we intended to chill when we arrived anyway and we certainly did this as it was such a pleasure to stay in and use the hot tub between showers.

The Villa itself is stunning and has everything that you could possibly need. The house is what I call an upside down house with the bedrooms being downstairs enabling you to get the stunning view of the river from the lounge. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs, one with en suite. This worked well for us as my son and partner had one room and his daughter the other and shared the bathroom. My other son and his partner had the en-suite bedroom. This is also where the laundry room is. Upstairs there’s a lounge with stunning fireplace which leads off into the master bedroom and also dressing room with lots of cupboard space (and coat hangers) and an en-suite with whirlpool bath.

Stepping down 7 (ish) stairs from the lounge, you came into the dining room. To be honest, we never used this room as going through the patio doors, you were in the most amazing conservatory, where, to be honest, we spent the majority of our time. The view of the river and passing boats from the conservatory was stunning. It was nice and warm all the time with a gas fire for night if it was cold. It had a big table which is where we had our meals and at the opposite side a seating area.

Walking back into the house From the conservatory is the well stocked kitchen. It’s not usually a well used room when I’m in holiday as we tend to eat out but due to the current situation with just coming out of restrictions, we did stay in quite a bit and made breakfast mainly. Not that making main meals would be a problem as, like I said, it had everything you could possibly need.

The villa is on a slight hill which is why you get such a lovely view of the river and the broads beyond. The weather improved during our stay and we then spent a long of time in the garden sitting in the sun watching boats go by and in the hot tub. My granddaughter lived spotting the boats and yachts as they cruised by. We were also visited daily by a heron and a couple of deer.

The owners were very good and provided all the information promptly and responded to any queries we had. They provided a welcome pack which was really appreciated.

The villa is in a quiet village, although saying this, it was a bank holiday weekend and it did get inundated with visitors who moored by the pubs. This did result in us not getting a meal at any if the pubs on the Sunday night. There are 3 local pubs. We found the New Inn to be the best with a lovely outside seating area. Although all the pubs were really nice with lots of outside seating areas.

We did have a takeaway twice from the local Chinese, Golden City which was really nice.

I would definitely recommend a stay here and would certainly return myself.
