Peterkin was a great teacher, bringing the subject matter to life with his own experiences of assessments and attending courts. I have attended this March 19 the course on how to conduct the mental capacity assessment and write expert report for the court of protection which was directed by Mr Peterkin Ofori. It was a day full of learning which is not only useful for my career as a clinician but also for my case which was imposed conditions by the GMC because of simple error of judgments in a single clinical encounter. This course gave me a lot more than just conducting MCA, it gave me the confidence in documenting my objective findings and how to go about it. The course was taught by a highly experienced barrister who knows this subject very well and he was most helpful long after completing the course. I would certainly recommend this course to anyone who deals with mental capacity whether it's a doctor, nurse, or social worker. I would like to share my experience with you, regarding Mental Capacity Consult (MCC). This company is very professional and the service is first class, my mother is 87 years and Mr PeterKin Ofori was the assessor.
Mr Ofori is well mannered and an expert at what he does, he put my mother at ease from the first hand shake. during his assessment of my mother Mr Ofori took my mother back to when she was 10 years old, he is a remarkable man and the right person for this role. I would recommend MCC to anyone who's loved one or friend needs an assessment, I'm really pleased I made the right choice for my mother.
