I have recently moved to Market Harborough and was unsure of what to expect from my new GP surgery.
I have nothing but praise for the polite, caring and helpful reception staff...taking their time to listen and professionally handle my telephone calls, and also in person at the desk. It reminded me of how GP surgeries used to be, when they worked at their best!
Adding to that, I received the kind and thorough care of Dr Hugh Delargy today...a GP who had time, was very approachable, and offered clear communication and a supportive plan moving forwards.
Thank you MH Medical Center , for making my first visit to you a very positive and reassuring one.

The best Doctor’s surgery I have ever been to. Dr Alisha R has been an absolute godsend. I have been suffering from various problems for a decade or more and over the years I have developed an aversion and suspicion to the medical profession due to their constant hand waving. This woman’s intelligence, action and diligence has found multiple issues and I am now able to have treatment for them and they have improved my life tenfold. I really do have a huge amount of gratitude for Dr Alisha. A few small tweaks has made a tremendous difference for me. Thank you so much.

My wife had a medical problem and went to see the Pharmacist at boots who said she needed an urgent appointment at the doctors.
We went to the reception at the market Harborough medical centre who couldn’t be more unhelpful if they tried,no appointments and the only suggestion was to phone 111 or go to Corby!
It was like being in a third world country where you go to the next village for treatment.

Good afternoon,
I have Lasting Power of Attorney on behalf of one of your patients who
currently lives in a local Nursing Home and is very vulnerable.

My friend was hospitalised for six days via A and E recently, due to very high glucose levels which doctors told me was probably due to an inappropriate diet.

Last week I phoned on behalf of my friend and was offered a telephone discussion with Nurse ‘Xen’ who has responsibility for overseeing my friend’s treatment.

I again have concerns about my friend’s diet and am keen to avoid further hospitalisation.

When I contacted the practice today to ask when I could expect to hear from the nurse, I was given a totally different message ie no contact is possible from this nurse but I could speak with someone who does not know my friend in October. Really?

l feel this is a discourteous as well as very unhelpful response and offer this feedback on behalf of my friend.

Excellent service and care received and very much appreciated. Despite the day to day difficulties encountered by the staff I have always had a pleasant experience dealing with all staff members to include reception, and with special mention for Dr Delargy, Dr Thakrar and 'Sue' . Thank you!

My husband was given an appointment for his diabetic review. He has a disability and by the time he found which room the nurse was in she said she was just putting him down as a no show! We have been with this practice for over 55 years and it’s outrageous how it’s run. He was told to bring a urine sample which he did but was told that it was no good and he should have gotten a sample bottle beforehand! This was never mentioned either by receptionist or by text msg we received. I really can’t put into words how frustrated I am. This practice was wonderful now it’s filled with people doing the basic they have to do there’s no empathy or understanding it’s more like a corporate bank than a GP surgery. Shame on you!!!!

Extremely unhelpful staff, a practice manager who refuses to speak to you to deal with a complaint and insists you write a letter of complaint as they don't accept emails, and made to see a paramedic when the NHS website specifically said that I needed to see a GP. Shockingly poor customer experience - don't expect either help or understanding from this practice!
