Lumisol Review - February 8th 2025

We were involved with Lumisol recently who installed an EV charger, solar panels and storage batteries in the house we have just moved to.

We purchased an electric vehicle some two years ago and used Tom Perretta, a local tradesman, to install an EV charger at our previous house. When we moved to this house, we remembered how efficient, knowledgeable and polite Tom had been. Also, we were aware that he had branched out into solar panel and storage battery installation so we contacted him for a quotation.

As before, he was highly professional and was able to explain the options in an understandable manner. Lumisol installed the EV charger within a few weeks of the initial contact and it was an efficient and competent installation, which has been problem free.

Some weeks later, Lumisol returned to install solar panels, an inverter and storage battery. This was carried out efficiently and quickly. The system has been up and running for a couple of weeks without issue.

At all times, Lumisol staff were polite and professional.

I would be happy to recommend Lumisol to family and friends for their expertise in selection and installation of a solar panel/storage/EV charger system.

He also made the necessary arrangements with UK Power Networks on my behalf. The work was carried out in a friendly, professional and efficient way. Tom is a really helpful and courteous engineer. His work is neat and tidy and to a really high standard. He fitted a new bathroom fan and light and an extra socket downstairs for a drier. He also replaced and repositioned the fuse board in preparation for the next lot of work. The work was excellent value and he will be returning in the new year to complete electrical works in our new kitchen. Would highly recommend. Thanks 🙂
