I had 2 leather patches sewn onto my Meindl walking boots to cover up some serious cracking due to my lack of maintenance. This has given the boots a few more years in them. Would definitely recommend.

I went to the shop with a pair of new motorcycle boots which needed altering to fit my foot properly. After trying a couple of other places I didn't hold out hope of anyone being able to help me.

However, the gentleman had a look and said he thought he could help - the work he did was amazing and the boots fit me like a glove! Clearly a very experienced skilled gentleman who has been doing this for years, and it shows.

I very highly recommend a visit here for any shoe repairs - I will be going back and highly recommending to anyone I know!

The very nice Gentleman waited a few minutes for us. I hope he wasn't in trouble when he got home.

Duplicating complex keys isn't cheap any more but the service from Locks and Leather recently was excellent, particularly efficient and timely, and the duplicated key worked perfectly which is always a bonus. The 'chap' was polite and friendly and helpful. His card machine even accepted my card without any fuss at all! I recommend this business without any qualification at all.

This place is a joke. Paid £21 for a new panel to be put on a trophy, plus engraving. The panel was not only lopsided and bent (and the engraving faint) but it wasn't attached probably. It peeled off as soon as I got it home and we were horrified to find it had just been attached with double sided sticky tape. Are you having a laugh?

Had a pair of sandals repaired with metal heels. The man painted the metal to match the sole. Much nicer than dull old grey. Attention to detail is where it's at! Very happy ?
