It has been few years I keep travelling to Radlett just to have my hair done at this salon. Blonde hair needs a lot of care and professional attention and I was never disappointed! All the staff was always nice, welcoming and professional, specially my colourist, Ibo. I would definitely recommend it ! Always the best !

As someone with ridiculously straight, fine hair, I’ve spent years on a quest for a decent local haircut but have usually resorted to making the trip to London after some disappointing trials.

But then I discovered Alpo… and its been a game-changer!

Loca Blow Bar their sister salon was utterly appalling, leaving me feeling disrespected and violated. From the moment I arrived, I was met with unprofessional and rude behavior. While I was running no later than 10 minutes late due to the challenges of caring for two small children, this is no excuse for the way I was treated. I was made to feel like an unwelcome burden rather than a paying customer.

The blow dry itself was a nightmare. The stylist aggressively pulled at my hair while brushing, causing unnecessary pain. I also have serious concerns about their hair care practices, as I didn't observe any heat protectant being used – a critical step to prevent hair damage. To add insult to injury, the final bill was higher than the price quoted on their website for long hair (not £32!).

This was a truly disgusting experience. I felt abused throughout the entire appointment. While I cannot definitively say it was racially motivated, the way I was treated certainly made me feel uneasy.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Loca Blow Bar to avoid it at all costs. Their blatant disregard for customer service, combined with unprofessional and potentially damaging hairdressing practices, is unacceptable. I will certainly not be returning and will be sharing my negative experience widely.
