I don't live in Lichfield and have no knowledge of all the struggles, giving 5 stars as a delivery guy only. All went well and the people I met were kind and friendly.

You have just started to kill off Lichfield when you decided to astronomically increase parking. We always park in multi story at £3.00 for three hours now disgustingly a quick increase of £2 making it a jump to £5.00 for the three hours.
I guess you want to see everyone suffer including shops etc. a small increase most of us understand but your actions has probably made the downfall for Lichfield.
Myself and family members will go elsewhere goodbye Lichfield.
Disgusting.

I will not drive that far that is the 7 adults not coming again at them prices. When we got back home ĺ was surprised how many have said it.

What a shambles, Lichfield Planning Enforcement Dept have been made aware of numerous planning violations for two years.
They have failed to act despite numerous emails, it is mine and another neighbours opinion this department is not fit for purpose.

I received a parking ticket despite receiving the below confirmation when paying using the website. I appealed but it was rejected because the payment wasn’t taken despite a page stating “Your parking has started!”. They also didn’t reply to my email for my appeal, they opted to post a letter, I assume to increase the likelihood of my paying the lower charge. I have given in and paid, but payment failed twice online showing an error message. I therefore have had to pay by phone.. amateurs and cowboys in all areas.

Absolute joke of a council, I went to pay for parking with their ticket machine. However it is only available for those who carry spare change and not usable for those who carry cards. Then I went online, it was so long winded that it took 20 mins to register. A parking attendant was available, but didn't have a ue how many minutes were required for a day. A joke of a service. Lichfield is quite clearly poor and cheap.

Substantial pot holes everywhere - one was in the centre of the road and obscured by flood water and causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage. Logged the highways report, submitted the claim on-line with real evidence and repairs invoice. It went to their underwriters and got thrown out.

Also council tax hiked by two bands last year after paying the extortionate rates on what is supposed to be affordable housing and have received a very final demand letter after no previous communications. Threatening to add £400 of costs to the £165 outstanding. Talk about using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
