I had the pleasure of listing my house with Lester & Bingley and I cannot praise them enough. Matt and Lisa could not have been more accommodating or professional and their genuine commitment to their clients is impressive. During my journey with Matt and Lisa I have come to respect both for their guidance and professional advice.

I decided to list my 1950s built property with Matt, Lisa and the rest of the team after my tenant of 2 years informed me that she is looking to buy a house. The house was marketed very well and it only took a few weeks for a potential buyer to put in an offer which I accepted @6k below asking price. The buyer went to view the property twice and I was informed by Lisa that he was very happy with the house and could not wait to move in.

After the tenant vacated the property, around 5 days before contracts should have been exchanged, the buyer went back to the house for a third viewing and at that point realised that it was not up to the standard he expected and demanded a further reduction of the asking price. To cut a long story short over the next few days the buyers demands and behaviour became more and more unreasonable and at the end I had to pull out of the sale, as I felt whatever offer I put on the table was not enough and he wanted more.

The whole experience has been very stressful and I am grateful for Lisas and Matts support. The house is still listed with Lester & Bingley and I am certain it won’t take Lisa very long to find a suitable buyer.

Lester and Bingley were an unfamiliar name to us when we viewed an empty property they were marketing in Nottingham. We loved the house but wanted to do work to make it our family home that would cost a considerable amount of money. Lisa negotiated with the vendors who accepted an offer that would leave us with the necessary funds. Then to our amazement, the vendors gave us a key to the property and we were able to get quotes and appoint tradespeople who were then able to start work as soon as the sale completed. The whole process restored our faith in human nature!

There aren't the words to express what a difference her commitment and professionalism made to my families lives.

Prior to engaging Lisa as our agent my father's retirement flat had been languishing on the market for over 2 years without us receiving any offers. The previous agents clearly did not prioritise a property with a low sale price and a limited market.
Within 2 weeks of Lisa taking the flat on we accepted an offer!

Unfortunately that first buyer pulled out just when we were expecting contracts to be exchanged, which was devastating to my elderly father. Lisa helped us to recover from that disappointment and hold our nerves - and within another two weeks we had accepted another offer.
Lisa worked tirelessly helping us to get this successful sale through to completion within record time. She stayed in contact with the whole family even during her own holiday time. Liaised with the conveyancing solicitors almost daily and took a very personal interest in how important it was for my Dad (who had been moved to a Care Home for palliative care) to be relieved of the burden of his property.
The whole family feels that Lisa appeared like an Angel just when a small miracle was needed. For her and Lester and Bingley this really was (financially) a small sale. The lowest priced property on her books I believe. The amount of work and personal care Lisa put in, knowing she was receiving a tiny commission at the end of it, recommends her as a professional of the highest integrity and a very caring person.
If you are looking to sell your property Lisa Davies is a stella agent - choose her and you will be choosing the best!

Matt was exceptional, he was able within only a few weeks, find me a suitable and appropriate tenant, for a shop that had sat there empty with another agent for over a year. There were several nuances, that need to be understood, ahd explained to prospective tenants, he listened understood and accommodated all without the slightest issue. The service from initial engagement through to contracts being signed was exceptional, and to be honest, he got me a yearly rent above what he knew I would hsce accepted and ensured the contract terms were reasonable for the tenant though best suited me as the owner.
