The key for the locking wheel nuts on my wife's 2012 Focus disintegrated when I was at home changing the last wheel to winter wheels & tyres (due to overtightening of the nuts on that wheel at a tyre dealer some months ago, no 5 star review for them). Panic, three winter tyres fitted and one summer, not great when storm about to dump loads of snow on us!

Called the parts department at Leominster Motors, our nearest Ford service dealer, I knew what the code was for the adaptor as we have had the car from new, no dealer holds them in stock, so order from Germany and 2 weeks delivery, not what you want to hear with car as is and storm brewing.

Russell (there are two Russells in parts to confuse things - not biker Russell) suggested that if I could get the car down to them, he would ask service if they could fit the car in for them to use their master set of adaptors to get the nut off and replace all the locking nuts with standard wheel nuts which he had in stock and swap the final winter wheel and tyre onto the car at the same time - Result!!!

Service kindly fitted the job in, all the staff were friendly and helpful while I was there. They had the devil's job to get the nut off and stuck to the labour charge quoted over the phone, even though it took longer. We've recently moved up to the area from Berkshire and have had a very good initial experience with a team that went that bit further and thought of a solution to get us safely mobile again. Thank you to Leominster Motors!

Peugeot 308gt premium has developed a problem, so we asked Leominister Motors for assistance. Luckily, the car is still under warranty, and therefore, the cost of this problem will be met by Peugeot including the cost of a car from this great garage until our car is fixed. The problem is with the centre panel (sat nav) and the instrument panel, as both went completely dark after the slightest dark area of the road and does not come back on as it gets dark in the evening. This caused a dangerous problem as we were unable to see our speed, fuel gauge, and other important information. The Sat nav was dark, and we could not use it. We can't fault this garage and are looking forward to getting our car back. They have been so helpful at this difficult time.
It's now the 5th December 2024 and our car is still at the garage 25 days since we dropped it off. So far Peugeot has scratched their heads and fiddled around, but that's it. Still hoping to get our car back from the garage by next year 2025? Only got 27 days before next year so we are not holding our breath.

We booked a test drive for an ex-demo car we were interested in. When we arrived the first thing offered wasn't to drive the car. The first thing was to explain finance options including part-exchange. And then my vehicle was examined and taken for a drive by the salesman to determine the px value. And then I was allowed to test drive the car I was interested in.

This seemed totally back-to-front. The point of booking a test drive is for the customer to get a feel for the car on sale. Any discussion about buying it should occur afterwards.

Returning to the dealers after the test drive I was informed this particular car had actually already been sold so they would look at selling me a new one and try to bring the price down towards the price of the used one I'd just been out in. Various complex options were presented to me but by then I'd had a long day and my mature antennae recognised some unwelcome salesmanship tactics were being employed.

They are pleasant enough people to deal with but they need to rethink their approach. If someone is considering one of their cars the first thing the customer wants is to actually try one. And to try one that's actually for sale. I'd been led to believe I was looking at this ex-demo with a corresponding price, only to find out sometime later that it wasn't available and to be offered to buy a brand new car instead.

Placed a £250 deposit on a Mercedes c class estate car which was showing as being available received a call the next day saying the car was sold and my deposit would be refunded, eight days later I am still waiting, appalling service count myself lucky I didn’t buy a car from them.

I purchased a used Skoda Octavia from here, the service was excellent, Simon & Mark were so accommodating to me & answered any and all questions I asked. They weren’t pushy or trying to get a quick sale out of me and were quality and down to earth people. Travelled all the way from Leicester and to be fair, I’ll probably do it again. Couldn’t recommended Leominster Motors enough!
