Gorgeous and charming tea room. You cannot get a more quintessential English afternoon tea if you tried (and I’ve tried all sorts!).

The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the ambiance and decor is what you want for an afternoon tea!

I brought some American friends here with their kids, and they all loved it.

They also cater to allergens- if you need GF, veggie, vegan etc they have you covered you just need to specify at time of booking.

And absolute treat! Also, Levanham (where some of Harry Potter Deathly Hallows is set- we found the house!) is just the most quaint village and definitely worth a visit!

Owner Amanda provided an incredible afternoon for us to take home and wanted to make sure that everything was to her exacting standards so provided stands and plates to make sure the entire experience was just right … which it was!! I cannot thank Amanda enough for her patience and help in arranging my wife’s birthday tea. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Amanda ? ?

Absolutely beautiful tea room. We sat inside and felt nice and cool, the decor and music made us so relaxed. The tables were set up beautifully with lovely touches. The sandwiches were top quality and very filling (we were too full up to try the delicious looking cakes on offer). Service was perfect. We did book ahead as we’d heard it could get busy. We will be back. Thank you!

We had a lovely lunch at this charming, quaint tearoom. The room has a 1930’s feel and wartime music supports the overall theme. I especially liked all the mismatched crockery.

I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel whilst my wife had a ham and cheese sandwich. Both were generously filled and were accompanied by crisps and a small salad, coleslaw and everything was very tasty. The staff are lovely and very attentive and add to the experience.

Visit the loo and you’ll get a surprise!

We visited Lavenham on March 12th and when we arrived it was raining, so we popped in Lavenham Blue Vintage tea rooms for a spot of lunch. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, we were welcomed and seated right away. My son got scones and rea, I got the ploughman's with the pork pie and my sister in law got a doorstop sandwich. We finished with the lemon curd cake. Everything was absolutely lovely! Even though our trip to Lavenham was cut short by the rain, our visit to the tea rooms made the whole trip worth it!

Absolutely LOVED going to the tea room and would recommend without hesitation! Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and tasty cakes... what more is there?!! The sandwiches have great fillings...loads to choose from and the ploughmans... go for 'the works' because it is worth it!!
It is well worth booking a table before you go, sometimes they have spare tables but more likely they have been booked. It will be worth it!!
