I have nothing but praises for landlords. lawyer. They were absolutely. proficient and professional in the way. they dealt with my case. I needed to evict the tenant from property. Ellie and the team showed patience towards me even when i had doubts if i would be able to evict the tenant swiftly. They reassured me I was totally surprised how quick they were able to go to court and get an eviction order on the tenant. Hence l highly recommend them.
I do not believe the big firms would of been able to do what this firm has done. The fees were not exorbitant, yet they delivered
if you a looking for a firm that will not disappoint, I certainly recommend them

I wanted to evict a rogue tenant. My first solicitor took a wrong way of proceeding with my case and I was losing my time with him.
I turned to Landlords Lawyer. Steven Conway who took my case, is very knowledgeable and experienced and I knew stray away that we would win the case. And we did. I got my house back.
I would highly recommend Steven and also Ellie Stedmon who was helpful as well.

I have been working for over 16 years in the Lettings and Management, and I can certainly recommend others the Landlord Lawyer ( ERFOLG Solicitor) & Team who helped 100s of our client by getting the eviction and injunction order done. Recently, I contacted them about my eviction case yet again; they were professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Facing an eviction is an incredibly stressful experience, but Steven, Parul, Shifrah made the process so much easier by providing clear guidance and consistent support.
One of the standout qualities of Steven Conway was their attention to detail. They thoroughly reviewed my case, leaving no stone unturned. Their deep understanding of eviction law was evident from the start, and they explained each step of the process in terms I could easily understand and pass on to our client accordingly. This made me feel much more confident going forward.
What I appreciated most was how Shifrah & Adam always made time for my questions and concerns. I never felt rushed during our consultations, and they took care to ensure that I fully understood the options available to me and for my clients. Their calm and methodical approach helped ease my anxiety throughout what could have been an overwhelming experience.
In court, Steven was outstanding. Their preparation and strategic approach were evident, and they represented me (my client) with confidence and skill. It was clear they had my best interests at heart, and their expertise played a key role in the favorable outcome of my case and on many occasion in the past too. Keep doing great job Steven and Team.

If it were possible to give them a zero star review I would, they are that dire. Avoid them at all costs, they are a bunch of cowboys. They will initially tell you its quite straight forward and then pile on the costs after this. If you need a professional legal firm go elsewhere.
I initially spoke to a lawyer but later found out it was just a legal secretary. I explained my complicated issue with a tenant eviction due to the contract and asked specifically that they checked the contract to advise the best way to evict and sent them the contract. They told me it would be straight forward and served section 21 which then lead to a court date being booked. A week before the court date the principle solicitor Peter told us that we could not evict due to the contract! It was a struggle to understand him due to his heavy Nigerian accent and he was extremely rude, and I mean really rude to us over the course of our discussions. We were shocked that they had not checked the contract I sent them and then left it to the eleventh hour to inform us. He then told us that the best way forward would be to use a barrister but he would not advise the cost of this service until the hearing, so it could range from £1K-£10K and we would be tide in at this point to whatever the costs were. Obviously this seemed really dodgy and when I spoke to barristers independent they were all very upfront with costs and the process. They also did not advise us of the process and that if it failed we would be liable for all costs. Niavely we assumed that as it was an eviction it would not be expensive.
In the end we pulled out as it was obvious that they didn't know what they were doing and we got a full refund but we still had to pay the cost of the cancelled court case and lossed 6 months time. So do yourself a favour and go anywhere else, you have been warned.
-In response to your message, the lady I dealt with was called Shifrah Pottesman. When I asked her colleague her job title I was informed she was a legal secretary. When I checked her name on SRA she is not listed as a solicitor ( as I was lead to believe she was). Please clarify if this is untrue?

They are not a proper company. They will forward your case to another firm, which in turn will forward it to another, and the lawyers don’t come prepared to court. Before submitting the case, they don’t even proofread the facts. During my court sessions, the landlord's lawyers mixed up all the documents and calculations, making no sense and causing embarrassment in court. Steven, one of their representatives, gives false hopes, claiming they are the best firm in the country and have lost very few cases, but it’s all nonsense. To entice you, he might offer a one-time price reduction, but don't fall for it. They wasted my time and money, making me send unnecessary documents, hindering my case's progress. Don't make the same mistake I did. I found another lawyer who successfully helped me evict my tenants.

I needed to evict two rogue tenants. Landlords Lawyer helped me to get the court possession orders. I dealt with Ellie. The communications with her was always great. She's clear, honest, efficient and professional. She was able to provide information and suggestions at each stage of my evictions. I recommend Landlords Lawyer.

As a manager of a letting company we had a complicated issue with one of our tenants. Landlords Lawyers were fantastic at dealing with this issue on our behalf. They were professional, swift acting, personable and most importantly got the results we wanted. I cannot recommend Landlords Lawyers enough as everyone on the team was fantastic - especially Steven Conway. I would not hesitate to consider using them again.

I had to evict a rogue tenant who combined antisocial behaviour with rents arrears.
I first contacted a very big specialist Firm of Lawyers (that will remain nameless)and my experience was dreadful: they never returned phone calls, very high fees etc. I withdrew my business from them and contacted Landlords lawyer to follow up on the case.
I didn't regret it: Landlords lawyer is a smaller Firm with an excellent approach to customers service: they listened, followed up and were reasonable with their fees. Also they advised me correctly on the approach to take with the Tribunal. My main contact there was Elliott, assisted by Joel, paralegal guy. Both very professional and helpful.
I am very happy to recommend Landlords lawyer to fellow Landlords, unfortunate enough (like myself) to have to evict a tenant through the legal route!
