Idyllic spot standing on old coal mining area.
Great for a relaxing walk around or, if you're a bit more sporty, a super jogging area with a testing incline.
Monument remembering those miners that lost their lives down the pit in the parkland.
Also former site of Kiveton pit head baths.

So lucky to have this on my doorstep. Great reclamation of the old pit, has grown in lovely over the years and pleasant place for dog walking, running,for the kids to play on etc. Pity certain locals drop litter in places, but overall its an asset to the community.

First ever visit and was impressed with the facilities. Three large lakes which are all well stocked. Literally fishing out the boot of you car as plenty of vehicle access to each fishing lane. Caught my PB at 11 lb 12 oz so had a great day.

Lovely open and wooded areas for jogging or just a stroll in the fresh air. Great for walking the dog. There is a small carpark or on road parking.
