We recently hired Kidds of Yorkshire for our house move, including storage, and were thoroughly impressed with their service. From initial enquiries to final delivery, the entire process was smooth and well-organised.

Our account manager, Nicola, was professional and gave us plenty of advice, making us feel well-informed at every stage of our first experience with a removals company. Kidds were transparent about their services and pricing, providing a clear initial estimate, followed by an official quote after a home visit to assess our items.

On the day of removal, the team arrived early, handled our belongings with great care, and even provided temporary wardrobes for hanging clothes. Although we packed ourselves, the crew paid special attention to fragile items, ensuring everything arrived intact.

Both the removal and delivery teams were polite, friendly, and efficient. Special thanks to George and Cameron, whose attention to detail and care for our belongings were much appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout, and the crew came prepared with plenty of protective materials for our items. Heavy pieces were no issue for them, and they placed everything where we wanted for easy unpacking.

We highly recommend Kidds. While hiring a removals company was an additional cost, it was worth it for the peace of mind, professionalism, and stress-free experience.

I used Kidd's removals who are part of Dugglebys to move my furniture to my new home via there storage facility as I had to use temporary accomodation until my new home was ready. First class efficient service. They made a stressful time manageable. Reasonable price too as effectively 2 moves. I had the same 2 men for both moves and they were very efficient and polite. The service was just amazing right from the survey, dealing with Nicola in the office and the removal day itself. The two removers worked from 8.30 - 3.30 with one short break, they were absolutely outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. From a selection of about 4 companies we chose Kidds. One didn't reply and the remaining 3 sent people around to sort out quotes. Kidds came in the middle, and we went with them as they seemed more professional than the cheapest.
I think the main selling point was they had a Nicola, the lady in the office, who would call to check on things like if we'd received the quotes (there was a click to let the sender know the e-mail had been received button on the E-mail, but for some reason Thunderbird has it the same or similar colour to the area around it to it didn't stand out). We were never pestered by her and she came across as someone who knew their job and if there was a problem, you felt confident that a phone call to her would get the problem sorted. However there were no problems, or nothing that was any major issue.
The lads who came out were great, did a good job of shifting anything and managed to get everything on board two big vans. There were a few minor breakages, but they were down to our packing than their transporting and it was minor things like a candle in a glass that we'd had for over a decade, so no great loss there. The only other issue was a few things not marked up for which room to go in, but that was our issue. Also our American style fridge/freezer was too big to fit into the kitchen, that's the architects fault for not making the back door bigger, so it's currently working in the garage and going up for sale once we get our new kitchen done.
We had a 2 day move so they turned up the day before to fill up a van, then came the next day for the rest. They did show up earlier than expected the first day, but that was great, it freed up some room for us to deal with the last few bits and pieces. Then by about lunch time the 2nd day, we were all packed up. Then by about 17:30 that day we were all unpacked and the lads were heading off for hopefully a nice relaxing evening, they deserved it.
Yes I would recommend them.
