We stayed one night en route walking Hadrian's wall and had a lovely stay. Room was very comfortable and appreciated fresh milk with the tea tray and option of a bath. Beautiful setting. Breakfast was superb - delicious fruit, eggs and bacon in particular stood out (we have stayed in several B & B's on this trip). Lovely welcome and lots of local information on hand. Excellent base for the Roman history sites and Hadrian's wall.

Excellent stay, great hosts made us feel very welcome. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, breakfast was very nice well cooked and well presented. |The location on a working farm was perfect for us and we have already booked again in one of the cottages during lambing time so we can really experience farm life and get involved.

A delightful B and B. Leslie was a really kindly host, room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. Lots of literature and maps in the residents lounge so you could find out about the area. I came on my bike and there was secure storage in the barn. Wonderful location too in the heart of the Pennines but only a short drive from Haltwhistle. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful B&B, lovely breakfast and spotlessly clean. About 3 miles from Haltwhistle down small lanes but not a problem driving. Caught the train from Haltwhistle to Edinburgh which was a lovely day out (brought the tickets on line before we went) Great walks exploring Northumberland. Loved waking up to the noise of sheep every morning

A great place. Very quiet. The town of Haltwhistle is about 12 to 15 minutes away along country roads.
The room was very comfortable and clean.
The owner was fantastic and very welcoming. There was a lounge for guests to use.
The breakfast was superb and filling. There were choices of full English, vegetarian English or Haddock with eggs. Toast was available too.

My husband and I recently stayed at Kellah Farm bed and breafast near Haltwistle. The accomodation was lovely. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and had complimentary tea coffee water and biscuits. The Shepherds breakfast was wonderful. Lesley our host was friendly and helpful and on hand if we needed anything. I would highly recommend Kellah Farm to anyone visiting Northumberland and all its nearby attractions such as Hadrians Wall.

We arrived by walking a different route, coming from the south east, off a lane. Katie saw us and welcomed us. She immediately showed us the drying room and laundry- just brilliant. Our room was great. Fabulous lounge and bigger tv, downstairs. Honesty fridge for beer and vino. Lesley had prepared our lasagna and veggies. Very tasty- just what walkers need. Cooked breakfast included. It’s a very quiet rural location. We head off today, continuing our walk to JOG. Highly recommend. Thanks Lesley and Katie.

We have just come back from a two night stay at Kellah Farm. The farm is perfectly situated for visiting Vindolanda and Housesteads. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Good showers too! The breakfast was excellent. The children particularly enjoyed the table football! We recommend the Milecastle Inn as a supper option.
