Almost has the feeling of being abandoned and not being served by any trains, despite receiving an hourly service. The entrance is via a heavily rusted footbridge and staircase. There is a single shelter and bench at the station (though that was plenty as I was the only person there to board a train!)

Conveniently located for the town of Ince-in-Makerfield, though it doesn't have any parking facilities. It is also convenient for the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
