I noticed a coolant leak on my car and couldn’t locate where the leak was coming from.
I rang Horwich Tuning and they booked me in straight away to have a look at it, price to locate the leak was free. They located the leak straight away and the problem was the water pump. They advised to get the water pump and timing belt changed together. Towards the end of the day they contacted me to tell me the job was completed.
One month after the repairs have been completed, I have noticed no coolant leaks, better fuel efficiency, and car running really well. My car feels reliable again.

1st class service, fair price, and a reliable place to get your car repaired and serviced.

I have been using Horwich Tuning for 5 years now and I have not come across a fair and reliable garage since.

fantastic garage, lovely people & just brilliant. the only garage i will go to around here, they’re the only ones that don’t take the piss as a woman who comes in, genuinely listen to the problems and take you seriously when you are talking about your car. couldn’t fault them if i tried, they’re friendly and very professional. really appreciate all they do!!

Trustworthy, knowledgeable and so helpful. I took my car in after going through a flood and expected to pay hundreds to get it back on the road. The wonderful fellas were able to make the car road worthy for £55 with clear advisories and what to look out for. I would drive to this garage anytime to have this service. They could have absolutely ripped me off as I had no clue what was wrong and expected to pay a hefty sum. This garage is the kind of garage you hope to stumble upon.

I had an MOT at Horwich Tuning Centre and my first time, as I have not long since moved to horwich so it was only round the corner and convenient, but I left in absolute shock wanting to charge me £700 for repairs.... Ive only had the car a year. Was it because I'm a woman?..... I walked away I wouldn't pay that. I then contacted my man in little lever- a little out of my way.... I showed him my mot fail notice from Horwich Tuning Centre and even my mechanic couldn't understand where they got them figured from and it wasn't justified... my mechanic said 'they were being very picky and some of the repairs were at the mechanics discretion and was not necessary but some definitely was. It cost me for the repairs £189.00 and he will do the unnecessary 'now' on my next MOT so I don't have to pay a lump sum at once..... Stay with who you trust and my cars great now. They have lost what would have been a loyal customer.... look after your customers and be honest because without us you would not have a business ?

Been once for my MOT, which they got me in for the next day and a great price! Then returned when I heard knocking, at first he said they were really busy until the next week but offered to quickly get it on the ramp to make sure it was nothing dangerous, once up there explained what the issue was, made a phone call, then asked me to return in a few hours when it would be sorted! Brilliant garage, would definitely recommend.
