The staff here are absolutely brilliant. I managed to put the wrong thing in a parcel and only realised when I got home an hour or so later. I called them, they picked up (rare for many businesses these days!), found the parcel and I popped back in to rescue the wrong thing and put in the right thing. They could not have been more helpful.

I've been using this post office for 10+ years and they've always been brilliant from banking to passport applications, changing currency, foil balloons, sending packages, stamps and so on. Extra bonus is I can take the dogs in with me and they get a treat too so they would leave a positive review too if they could!

Was charged special delivery for a parcel today that I didn't ask for for and as I was told Royal Mail was expensive I didn't question at the time. I learnt a valuable lesson today but the label was placed on before I had even been told the price! Will be extremely wary in the future. Wish I had seen other reviews saying the same. Really bad service and upset that I have paid double what I should have. Also now realised I was charged for delivery by 1pm which I never asked for!

Every time I go to this particular branch to post something I say, “I would like to send this the cheapest way possible” and every time they over charge me. I am aware of the costs so am able to challenge them and seek the correct postage cost. They must rip so many people off doing this. It happens every time I go in. I’ll be reporting this branch to trading standards as I am aware from speaking to others the same has happened to them.

Condescending older male behind the counter who ought to learn to do his job without policing the mood of the customer, who is rightfully annoyed at having to pay twice to ship the same parcel.

This franchise of the post office goes all out to overcharge customers. Fortunately I am aware of all the tariffs and levels of insurance they offer but unaware people will be charged Special Delivery for sending pretty much anything.

This post office is a real gem ! Lovely stock of cards ,stationery etc. The staff are lovely, very friendly and super helpful and gave me lots of helpful advice to do with their services and even helped me save some money when asking about passport renewal !!

If you’re sending any parcel or letter, the lady automatically tries to bump it up to special delivery, they don’t ask if that’s what you want. This has happened to me every time I’ve visited.
