Hook was an unexpected stop on our way to Cornwall - and it was also a very pleasant one. Stopped at Hartlett’s Cafe which is located at the Community Centre building and is operated by a group of lovely people. Service with a smile, warm reception, great fare- what’s not to like?

Very friendly, cheap food and lovely coffee. I only moved to Hook last year and I'm glad that I got around to visiting.
Another visit will happen soon, I'm sure.
Good to take the grandchildren there and treat them, too.

Lovely modern community centre next to Hartletts Park.
Numerous rooms for hire, including a kitchen area. Lots of meetings and clubs take place at the centre.
Plenty of parking. Tennis courts, park/football pitches, children's play park, skate park and Hartletts Cafe all nearby.
